Thirteen members of this wonderful family gathered for a holiday portrait and we were fortunate enough to find this one perfect tree with beautiful fall colors left just for us!

Mr. Blue Eyes

Two year olds can be challenging to photograph but with the wonderful assistance from my husband and a five fingered monkey glove (dont' ask), we got these wonderful smiles:

He was trying to escape from us for a while but those bushes were too much for him! :D

Little Princess

Here's a few photographs I took just the other day of this precious little girl. We did the shoot in downtown Buda where there's always some interesting backdrops. Her mommy did a fabulous job selecting her clothes.....it always pays off to have a discussion with your photographer regarding what to wear prior to the session!

Andrea & Aaron

I had a wonderful engagement session the other day with Andrea & Aaron. It's always nice to see the couple together, to find out how they click and get a feel for how I click with them. I loved hanging out with them! They are total UT fans and I found out that Andrea and I graduated near the same time! We did some shots on the campus and then after a quick change into something more formal, headed to the capitol for a few more portraits. This first one is so classic and turned out beautiful!

Part of the reason I love doing engagement sessions is because that's usually my first time to meet the groom. I can hardly wait to see what their personality is like and I found out Aaron has a really fun side on this outing! He wanted to do some sunglasses pics and I snapped this quick one as he had Andrea laughing....of course, he had me laughing too! I have a feeling this is going to be a really fun reception at this wedding! So here's Aaron.....

Mini-Session Christmas Family Portraits

Family Christmas Portrait Mini-Sessions - November 7th & 8th

Since I've had several requests to do family portraits recently, I've decided to open up a weekend on my calendar to do some mini-sessions before the holidays. This weekend is strictly dedicated to black and white portraits including a color accent on an item in one of the portraits. If you would like to book a session, please send me an email to get the details about these portraits and the times I am available . The collection starts at $169 and includes artistic editing, a professional enlargement, and hi-res CDs for you to use when making your Christmas cards! Since this is such short notice and I will a limited number of bookings, there will be a non-refundable creation fee to book your appointment. These beautiful photographs will make a unique statement for your annual Christmas portrait!

Missouri Wedding

I just did my first out of state job recently, all the way up in Missouri....brrrr...was quite chilly up there for this Texas girl. This particular wedding was extremely unique and I knew about one of the great surprises that was to occur before I even got there. Brandon is a fireman and decided to surprise his lovely bride, Andrea, with an old '72 firetruck as their means of transport to the reception hall! The look on her face was priceless and the rest of the bridal party hopped on the back for this brisk ride. There were so many other fireman themed details that they had through the wedding so it was a real treat to be a part of this. So here's a few of many more to come:

So this pic probably needs a bit of explanation....the bride is getting her hair done in the background while her bridesmaid is showing me the message she just got on her phone.....the firetruck had arrived! Soooo sneaky those bridesmaids ;)

Nothing like mommy's arms when you are tired....such a sweet boy!

Oklahoma Family Portrait

I was out of town recently to do a wedding and had the opportunity to take some portraits for a family in Oklahoma on my way back. They were the nicest folks to work with and their two girls had awesome curly hair!

I love photographing hands...they tell just as much of a story as faces for me. These are of Brian and his father.

Three Little Angels

Here's just a couple of photographs of these darlin' little angels we took back in July. I loved their matching dresses! They were too cute!

Mandy & Michael

I can't believe it's August already...where is the year going??? We are so busy right now as we are about to launch a new branch of our photography that's just for kids! Yea! I can't wait for the unveiling of what we have in store...it will come soon!

Here's a few pics from a fantanstic wedding we did last month at the new venue The Villas at St. Clair. Mandy and Michael have some of the greatest friends....everyone pitched in and it went off sooo smoothly. It was also nice that Mandy had about 5 friends that were all named Jennifer so if I needed any help, I just gave a shout out and one of them was always there to aid me! Thanks everyone and may you have a beautiful life together as husband and wife!

Is it just me or are the guys' dressing rooms always oozing with an air of calmness while the gals have so many other things going on like in the next photo : D

Baby M.

Here's some recent photos from a baby session we did. I love doing these portraits but I wished I had recorded the sounds her Daddy was making to get her to smile for us! That was a riot but it absolutely worked!

Portrait of T.

Just had a friend and her adorable daughter come for a visit today. She was so sweet playing in the sandbox and just hanging out. Love her curls!

Mandy & Michael's Engagements

I am completely excited to be working with this couple and can tell after today that their wedding in July will be a BLAST! Mandy is so absolutely fashionable with her coordinated ensembles (and, she was completely up for doing anything during our shoot, thanks Mandy!). Michael is such a gentleman and was so nice for letting me put him in all sorts of poses (even some not so comfortable ones, sorry Michael!). We started off at the 290 Cafe in Manor where they first met. I love when couples are sentimental about the start of their relationship! Then we were off to downtown Georgetown.....so much to shoot there, especially since their Red Poppy Festival was going on! It was a riot when Mandy and Michael went down the big bouncy slide at the festival (I told you they were a blast!). Our final stop was back in Round Rock where I met Molly and Tank (such big sweeties.....you'll see their pics below and understand what I'm talking about). We enjoyed the morning guys; enjoy this sneak peek......

Such a sweet moment!

Here are the two sweeties, Tank and Molly.....they were such good doggies for us!

Portrait of F.

It was such a fun morning photographing this fun 4 year old! We took some photographs around Kyle and even went to Texas Old Town Kyle (thanks guys!) where they graciously allowed us to use their grounds for some photography. I loved that place and definitely would like to do a wedding there one day! So here's just a sneak peek from this morning:

Bluebonnets in Buda

Love our Texas bluebonnets, even though they are somewhat scarce around south Austin! Just a quick portrait of this cutie from today....
